Small Media Extra Large, a digital content company headquartered in Brooklyn, NY, is proud to introduce smixel, an independent video, art, and entertainment channel.

smixel is for an audience of discerning media junkies who are sick of the freak show on YouTube, and bored of Britney and cringe TV. It’s a new destination for viewers who crave entertainment that is nontraditional, genre-bending, and above all, wildly fun.

smixel is more than a little twisted. A little rough around the edges. Quirky, with teeth. Imagine the neighborhood where all the cool artsy kids are moving into, but where you still stand a good chance of getting mugged. That’s smixel.

Content on the site is created and/or curated by Small Media Extra Large. New shows are also originated by the smixel digital repertory company, a collaborative collective of artistic ninjas, who lurk in the shadows to assail your cultural sensibilities.
